As a manager I suddenly realized that all my attention was focused on the behaviour and performance of others. I missed some personal focus and I was interested in how colleague managers approached the challenges we face. For this reasons I invited all managers of our region to come together four times a year. To avoid a “nice free drinks” level every meeting was organised around a management book we all had read before and a moderator/facilitator challenged us from the perspective of this book in our daily work and personal development. The participants evaluated the way Nicole moderated/facilitated as: engaged, no value judgments and to the point. I totally agree with them.
