Who is not able to share will not be able to multiply at all...

4 March 2015 by Nicole Loeffen

Oops ... it has been over a year ago since I wrote a blog on this site. You would think that little has happened. However, the opposite is true. So time to share my experiences of the past year with all who are willing to read it.

It is great to start your own business from experience and passion ... but people do not find you out of the blue and still you need to earn money for living. So to promote myself I energetically started approaching my LinkedIn contacts along with a sample of 6 "products" that I can offer, if desired. The personal approach suits me well but offering products did not ... therefore after more than 250 messages I stopped this action even though I had reached only 20% of my contacts so far.

I prefer conversations out of curiosity and genuine interest.
So we discover the question behind the question and think about what I can contribute to an answer or solution, personally or via my network. And luckily quite suddenly the interesting assignments came one after the other.

This is what kept me of the street and writing blogs the last year:

·      The work of the Ministry of Social Affairs for the rural meetings in 2014 of the platform Honor and Freedom was completed and transferred together with Carin Biegnolé of Conversion Productions.

·      Along with Kilian Bennebroek, his latest book The Change Accelerator comes out soon, we have given a nice boost to an on going change process at Rabobank by using the Change Monitor.

·      With VDS colleagues we regularly facilitate workshops in personal leadership, coaching and time management for the associates (trainees) of PWC. We also facilitated culture/core values workshops for all employees of UNICEF Netherlands. I designed and facilitated a number of team sessions for Rabobank and ABN AMRO about culture and behaviour. And I contributed to an innovative redesign of an Onboarding program for new employees of ABN AMRO Particulieren where my experience in this part of this organization was very useful.

·      As regular assessor for ROI Navigator I observed and valued the skills of experienced and talented professionals, sometimes as a starting point for a customized training and sometimes as an exam

·      Multiple coach and e-coaching programs. Although I am far from a classic coach but more a sparring partner or buddy who positively challenge and seduce to experiment with different behaviour to discover valuable insights.

·      Chairperson / facilitator of a team day with the MT of the Director of the GGD Kennemerland, where a good personal intake with all team members was literally half the work. This approach and the result tastes like more!

·      And last but not least, with a lot of energy I guided 90 very passionate employees of the Philadelphia Care Foundation who will lose their jobs in rediscovering themself and finding new perspective in their careers.

With pleasure I worked a lot to earn a living, and the majority of this assignments is being continued. Unfortunately, I had less sincere and curious coffee appointments ... so it's time to start this up again.

I would like it to visit you and bring along my genuine interest in what is going on.

In order to share ... and multiply as well. When do we meet each other (again)?
