Do you dare to look at your life from another perspective?

26 March 2018 by Nicole Loeffen

A reality that is even more special than in my sweetest dream.

My last week reality was something I only dreamed about so far. And the reality was much more special. impactful and more intense that I ever dared to dream. Why…because of the reactions of the participants. They confirmed how valuable this program is for them and agreed fully on my perspective that the Being on Mission philosophy is hard to compare to other programs. Thanks Mark McGregor, for the intensive learning path you offered me the last 3 years. Thanks Sanne for the pleasant way of working together both bringing in our personal strengths and expertise. Thanks Miriam, Sanne and Radbout you were great participants. And thanks Waverly house family for the delicious food and warm entourage.

It felt relaxed although we worked very hard for the participants…they had deep conversations with themselves and each other based on the 10 principles of leadership and life. We zoomed in on values and vision and on all the different roles each person has. In the end it became clearer for each participant where life and work is really about, things finally made sense. After 4,5 days  all went home with clear goals and fitting actions. In May we will have another day to work together on the progress so far and the next steps.

Below you can read the references of 2 participants. For me they confirm the power of this Being on Mission philosophy. I did see it right 8 years ago and all the investments in time and energy I did the last 3 years to set this ‘Being on Mission Institute”into the world seem so valuable right now. The philosophy is universal, simple and usable in every situation with the right accent. It results into “aha”clicks who can be life changing. Of course  I can say “this is just my job’...and it seems to be so special that it feels like so much more. I especially would like each person who wants to take responsibility for his own life and development to experience this. All who like to become a better leader,  both professional and personal.

Why I believe that facilitating good inner conversations fits in our current world?

The world around us changes rapidly and constantly and that effects you as well, as a human being and as a leader. It is not easy to stay healthy, engaged and successful in your job and following all new developments in the same time. To stay connected to clients, colleagues and employees by telling a clear and inspiring story and walk the talk in the same time. And also arrange some me time for sports or social activities for example during this turbulent period. We like to tell ourselves that there is nothing to complain about...and still something is gnawing. Thing can be done different...(even) better but how? Our experience is that a few days “away from your regular rhythm”will provide you a mind-set to reflect and thereby is an investment that will pay back double at least. That is why our programs facilitate a good conversation within yourself and/or your team on special locations.

It was very worthwhile, personal as well as professional.Being on mission is an impressive, intense and intensive program in which theory and practice are alternated in a pleasant way. With group assignments and individual coaching, both very clear and useful. It ensured me that I am ready for the next step. I cleaned up my mess and redecorated my house.Thank you Nicole en Sanne for your enthousiasme, professionality and en inspiration, you are great trainers!”Sabine Noordeloos - operational manager - ex ABN AMRO

“After participating in a masterclass with Mark McGregor in Amsterdam I signed up for the Deep program at the Dutch team. Convinced that change is only possible based upon the Whole person model, like Mark says. See the conjunction of personal, professional, mental, physical, emotional, rational and tackle all of them. The universal 10 principles helped me to see connections and keep focus. This Deep program REALLY goes beyond other programms.Confronting, personal, clear and usable. Working hard and relaxing, to let insights matur.Nicole and Sanne are masters in guiding this proces. Their personal contribution and approach made the difference for me to become able to learn, grow and get concrete and practical guidance to continue on my expedition of what leadership and life mean for me and realize this. The best you can wish for yourself if you like to Be on Mission.”Radbout Stuijt - Manager TPC & Chain Management – KLM
